Philadelphia Futures is a nonprofit organization that supports Philadelphia’s low-income, first-generation-to-college students. For July 2022, I was a math instructor for their Summer Institute program, which is an intensive summer academic enrichment program for recent high school graduates transitioning to college and is aimed to keep students academically engaged through college-level coursework and to develop skills and strategies for college success.

Girls Talk Math is a free educational summer program for high school students of underrepresented genders in math. I was a volunteer team leader at their Summer 2020 camp and led Knot Theory discussions with high school students twice a week.  

SASE is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage STEM professionals in both education and employment. I was both the volunteer coordinator and SASE Jr. program coordinator for the University of Minnesota collegiate chapter from June 2016 to May 2017.
